Autobiography of a Face by Lucy Grealy (Note: Lucy Grealy attended the Iowa Writers' Workshop at The University of Iowa from 1985-1987. Her book is an autobiography on growing up with a facial disfigurement and the multiple surgeries she had to try to correct it. She died in 2002 of a drug overdose.
