Tomorrow I'm headed to Seattle to visit Niall, an Irishman living in Seattle. This is my first trip to Seattle, so I'm shaking with excitement.
I'm waiting to post about erin's visit until I have a picture to post. But, as I have an archaic camera (as my brother is constantly reminding me), I actually have to get my film developed at a store (gasp!) and burned onto a CD (egads!). Then I'll post pictures of erin, Brett, Allison, and me at the theatre in the park where we watched West Side Story, and erin started guffawing at the opening scene of the Jets and the Sharks "fighting". (I had to tell her to shut up for fear the tiny teen ushers would physically remove her from the park.) Later, Brett was upset because at no point in the song I Feel Pretty did Maria sing "...I feel pretty and witty and gay..." Rather, "gay" was replaced with "bright". Um, that's the way the song was written. "Gay" means "happy" or "bright", and it flows so much better as gay. Pretteee. Witteee. Gaaaeee. Now try it with bright. Pretteee. Witteee. Bright. Geeezzz.
