It dawned on me that Jennifer Lopez is playing a woman engaged to Michael Vartan. In real-life, Jennifer Garner is engaged to Ben Affleck. So Jennifer Lopez is "engaged" to Michael Vartan, Jennifer Garner's ex, and Jennifer Garner is engaged to Ben Affleck, J-Lo's ex (and pregnant with his baby). I can't believe it took me four weeks since I first saw the promo to figure out the irony there.

Megs, you have no idea how loudly I laughed when I read on eonline.com that Garner is having Affleck's spawn. I hope it is a really ugly baby.
(ps - I watched an elvis documentary last night on CBS -- Elivs by the Presleys -- where priscilla basically told a whole shit load of stories about Elvis. and Elvis' parents were UGLY. so I realized if you can be ugly and have a gorgeous baby... I hope two pretty people like Garner and Affleck have an ugly one. does that make me a bad person?)

as an expert on ugliness, wishing ugliness on anyone is probably not a good thing; however, this does not make you a bad person. lying and telling a mother that she has a beautiful baby even though the baby is as ugly as sin (as most babies are), now that makes you a bad person. i say smiling and nodding your head without looking repulsed is enough.
having said that, i will probably have hideous children...
